Utiligroup, a leading provider of software solutions and services, has donated £10,000 to three very special causes.
Utiligroup donated £5,000 to North West-based charity, The Mango Tree. The Mango Tree is dedicated to providing effective and sustainable programmes in African communities that improve the well-being of orphans and vulnerable children and nurture them to become self-reliant adults. The charity works in Kenya and Tanzania, with goals to rebuild lives and communities, as well as support primary healthcare.
A further £5,000 was divided between Lancashire-based Derian House Children’s Hospice and St Catherine’s Hospice.
Derian House is renowned throughout the region as being at the forefront of children’s palliative and respite care. Families who have a child with a life shortening condition can choose from a range of care and support services. St Catherine’s Hospice is dedicated to providing the best possible quality of life for those people affected by life-limiting conditions and their families across Chorley, Longridge, Preston and South Ribble
Utiligroup’s marketing manager, Neelam Barber, said: “We are delighted to support The Mango Tree, and hope that the funds will allow this worthy charity to continue to carry out the wonderful work it does.”
Utiligroup, which completed an £16.1 million MBO last year, supplies software and services to over 30 of the active UK energy suppliers.
