Food From Air Science Can Produce as Much Protein as Staple Crops

Fascinating experimental technology could produce chemicals for growing bacteria that can be eaten by livestock. Renewable power such as solar energy would be used to capture carbon directly from the air and turn it into a simple compound. If we were to convert 1/10th of the land used to grow protein-rich soya for feeding animals to solar panels, this would yield as much protein as the farms currently produce. Click here to read more.
