Global: BBC – ‘Electric cars will take over sooner than you think’

The BBC have released an article discussing how we may have already passed the tipping point where sales of electric vehicles will overwhelm petrol and diesel cars. The article continues to describe how governments are setting targets to ban the sale of ‘ICE’ vehicles, whilst manufacturers plan to sell only electric cars within the next decade. Chief environment correspondent Justin Rowlatt continues by highlighting how he believes the EV market is about where the interest was around the late 1990s – and did not follow a linear path to world domination, it was explosive and disruptive – and followed an S-curve.
