Work Hard, Play Hard

It is great that restrictions are starting to lift and life is slowly starting to resemble some sort of normalcy. At ESG we've hosted a variety of internal events and team building activities lately. Your Culture Committee are always working hard to maintain an exciting events calendar so please reach out to them if you have any new ideas.

US Book Drive

In recognition of Dr Seuss' birthday the US are partnering with Room to Grow and hosting a virtual book drive. We want to collect books for children 0-3 years which will be donated to low income families in the Boston area. For each book donated ESG will be making a monetary donation to support the foundation. You can either purchase from the Amazon wishlist linked below or drop off gently used books to the Norwell Office.

Take just one minute out of your day and watch this video. These breathing exercises will help you to relax, focus your mind and feel more awake. Headspace has a free app with a range of guided meditiations and relaxation techniques to help with a variety of issues including stress and sleep. Try to get into the habit of practicing one of these everyday.

1 – 7 February – Children’s Mental Health Week

It’s important that we recognise and take actions to improve not only our own mental health but also our children’s. Alot of children are struggling with their mental health but there are lots of resources out there to help. Check out the idea’s below to help inspire and engage your children to keep their mind’s and bodies active.

A year on the run

Erin Hampson has set herself the challenge of running every day for 2021 and will donate £1 each day to the LGBT Foundation. She has made some great progress already – raising £500 and has also been recognised by Just Giving as one of their top fundraisers of January! If you would like to sponsor Erin you can do so here.
