CEO Intro

This will be Matt’s intro to the newsletter and what’s been happening…

This is a big section header to see how we can use this section effectively.

On the 10th September this year is World Suicide Prevention Day, where every year organisations and communities around the world come together to raise awareness of how we can create a world where fewer people die by suicide. In 2018, in the UK and Republic of Ireland, more than 6,800 people died of suicide. Every life lost to suicide is a tragedy – and suicide is preventable, it’s not inevitable.
Remember, all ESG and Utiligroup staff have access to the Employee Assistance Programme to support you when you need help.

World Sepsis Day is held on September 13th every year and is an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against sepsis. Sepsis arises when the body’s response to an infection injures its own tissues and organs. It may lead to shock, multi-organ failure, and death. You can watch a video about Sepsis here and visit the World Sepsis Day website for more information.
