Summary

We deliver sophisticated software solutions and managed services in a Private Cloud infrastructure, servicing both traditional and modern real-time, smart energy clients.

The Junior Project Manager is responsible for the delivery of small change items (work requests) and small projects, including customer facing project work and Industry change projects. They are also responsible for the on-time, budget, scope and quality delivery of all work assignments within their remit, following defined project standards and methodologies.

Role Responsibilities

Key Objectives:

• Deliver small projects and change items within the ESG projects portfolio to the appropriate level of Time/Cost/Quality/Scope
• Ensure projects / work requests are delivered efficiently and effectively, with a focus on project closure and handover to BAU
• To assist Project and Programme Managers where necessary in larger Projects and Programmes
• To serve as a member of the Professional Services Team demonstrating the key values of Trust, Empowerment, Passion and Expertise

The Junior Project Manager is:

• Responsible for work requests and small project deliveries within their remit
• Responsible for engaging with the relevant teams to support successful delivery of committed opportunities on time, on budget and to the required level of quality
• Responsible for escalating key risks and issues that may prevent this from happening
• Working with external customer stakeholder to deliver projects where relevant
• Promoting the sharing of lessons learned across the delivery team and beyond
• Management of appropriate RAID logs according to Project need
• Responsible for following the project delivery lifecycle framework, processes, procedures and templates relevant to your area(s)

Able to provide necessary support to other Project / Programme Managers where relevant

Qualifications, Attributes & Experience

You will:

• Have knowledge of client facing deliveries in some aspect;
• Have knowledge of the project delivery lifecycle;
• Have experience of working within a support/administration business function;
• Be able to demonstrate experience of financial control and reporting;
• Be able to demonstrate experience of producing and managing project management artefacts

• Delivered projects of up to £10K in revenue and/or deliveries of approx. 20 days effort and/ or up to 2 months in duration;
