Global: New innovative EV chargers ease loads on electricity grid

Audi has developed an innovative smart meter that will ease peak loads on the electricity grid. The system establishes communication between EV’s, households and the power suppliers that relay critical information regarding energy demand. This demonstrates another technology initiative within the convergence and interdependency of energy and mobility on the journey to low carbon societies.
