Wishing all our customers and friends a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from everyone at ESG!
As we reflect on 2024, we’re proud to share some of the highlights from our charity initiatives across our UK, US and Canadian teams.
ESG proudly supports Derian House, a local charity that provides respite and end-of-life care for over 300 children with life-limiting conditions across the North West.
We have raised funds through various events, including the UK ESG team completing Tough Mudder in 2022, 2023, and 2024, as well as organising a Christmas present collection this year.
Building on last year’s success, Pandell-ESG continues to support the Calgary Food Bank through food donations, personal employee contributions, and a company donation.
Together, we’ve donated an impressive $7,700 to combat hunger and support Calgary’s main emergency food network.
In the UK, we’re proud patrons of Inspire Youth Zone in Chorley, which provides opportunities and vital support to hundreds of young people each week.
This Christmas, we’re collecting gifts for the children and creating a festive Santa’s Grotto at their Chorley HQ!
Our team bagged over 2,000 pounds of potatoes—enough to provide fresh, nutritious food for a week to 250 families in need. This impact nearly doubles the number of families we supported during our last Volunteer Day.
We’re proud to support Chorley Help the Homeless, a local charity aiding those at risk of homelessness in Chorley, Lancashire.
Alongside past contributions of clothing, food, and monetary donations, this year we’re hosting a food drive to help stock their shelves during the busy Christmas season, ensuring food reaches those in need.
In line with our CSR goals, the UK ESG team participated in a sand dune restoration project at Lytham Beach, which has increased dune width by up to 80m since its inception.
Our team supported this vital environmental effort in both 2023 and 2024, contributing to protecting our planet and community.
In March 2024, we participated in Cycle for Smart Works, raising over £3,000 for the Greater Manchester branches.
Over eight days, our team cycled or ran 100 miles each—the equivalent of a marathon—to support this incredible cause of giving women confidence to secure employment.
