Keeping you up to date on news, events and what’s happening at ESG…
We’re proud to announce that last week ESG, along with our cohort members, successfully completed all required System Integration Testing (SIT) for the Market-wide Half-Hourly Settlement (MHHS) Programme – three weeks ahead of schedule.
This achievement marks a significant step forward for ESG, our clients, and the wider energy industry, as we all prepare for MHHS code go-live in September 2025. Notably, ESG’s two cohorts were among the first three to complete the main SIT phase, placing us at the forefront of readiness in this critical programme.
The MHHS Programme represents a transformational shift in how energy data is captured and used. More accurate, granular, and timely settlement data enables a smarter, more efficient energy system – and helps accelerate the UK’s journey toward Net Zero.
As a leading participant in the Programme, ESG is proud to support this shift by working collaboratively with suppliers, business customers, and programme partners.
Reaching this milestone was only possible thanks to the exceptional work and expertise of our teams. Their dedication, flexibility, and collaboration embody ESG’s core values and drive our continued success in delivering innovative energy solutions.
Although we’ve completed the main SIT phase, our teams are now supporting Settlements Assurance Testing until early August. While this phase doesn’t affect participant qualification, it reinforces ESG’s ongoing commitment to MHHS success and industry readiness.
We’re also continuing to support our clients and partners through final preparations for go-live. If you have questions about what MHHS means for your business, we’re here to help.
This accomplishment is a reflection of shared progress, teamwork, and commitment to a smarter energy future. Thank you to everyone at ESG and beyond who helped make this happen.
